In 1995 Michelle Ariss started ballroom dancing as a way to get herself out of the house. It was not very long before she started noticing positive changes in herself. She started to lose weight, and was beginning to hold her head a little higher and becoming more social by talking to other people in the class (including men). "I even caught myself with a silly grin on my face from time to time", says Michelle.
"I have gained so many friends through dance. Some of my closest friends I met in that very first class. Today, you will find me either practicing, competing, out social dancing or teaching others to dance with a smile in my heart and a silly grin on my face. I am definitely what one might call a Dance - Aholic.
I invite you to come and experience the passion of dance!" |
